A simple song I wrote in the '70s...it's pretty much intact....thinking back when I was in my twenties writing this still makes me smile. And, I think this simple song still has nice legs.

Lyrics

"A Moment's Hesitation"
Words & Music by Rick Landers (c) 1977

It's just a lazy afternoon
A moment's hesitation
My stomach's full of butterflies
My mind with little white lies

And you, you're trying to find me
You're trying to define me

Remembering when winter fell
When it was cold as hell
You were my one and only
I was your one and only too
Now it's June

It's just a lazy afternoon
I'm at the railway station
You've found a new location
And me, I'm trying to find it
I must have been blinded by you

Remembering when winter fell
When it was cold as hell
You were my one and only
I was your one and only too
Now it's June

Well, it's just a lazy afternoon
It's just a lazy afternoon
It's just a lazy afternoon
A moment's hesitation
