"It's Not My Fault" tells a sad tale of a loved one who's suffering from Alzheimer's disease and is losing their way and themselves. Life changes and their memory fails them through no fault of their own. He or she is moved (I sing this thinking of an elderly woman) to her new home, from a large house to a room, and her loving children place some of her old furniture in the room to make the place feel like home. At the end she's nearly disappeared and says so...to herself. Possible? Who knows, but I find it poetic, if not the saddest of sad.
