Frozen In a Photograph
by: (c) Rick Landers 2023
5/Em
We're frozen in a photograph
C
We're sitting very still
D
She says, this glass will be her last
A
I hope and pray it will
Em
Sitting in a cat cafe
C.
Down by the Moulin Rouge
D
She looks at me with her longing eyes
A
While dangling her shoe

Am F
She delights me now
C G
She smiles, she's dressed to kill
Am. F
She purrs a song, yet incomplete
C G
"Comme d'habitude"

Am. F
I gaze into her deep blue eyes
C G
Less than little to say
Am F C
She'll be mine and I'll be hers
G
'Til love fades away

(Instrumental break)

Em
A walk along the Champs-Élysées
C
Then down to the river Seine
D
She reaches for a billion stars
A
Then gives one my name

C
We're sitting in a lonely station
C
Waiting on a Southbound train
D
She says "One more for the road"
A
As love waxes and wanes

(Instrumental break) Am-E-F-Am (2x)

Am F
She delights me now
C G
She smiles, she's dressed to kill
Am. F
She purrs a song, yet incomplete
C G
"Comme d'habitude"

Am. F
I gaze into her deep blue eyes
C G
Less than little to say
Am F C
She'll be mine and I'll be hers
G
'Til love's dying day

Em
We're frozen in a photograph
C
We're sitting very still
D
She says, this glass will be her last
A
Still, she hasn't got the will
